Overview
The QCJ-120B Film Impact Tester is a SHIBO brand test instrument used to determine the impact performance of paint films. The instrument uses a fixed mass of weight to drop the Impact test plate from a specific height to characterize the impact resistance of the paint film at the maximum height (cm) that does not cause the paint film to break. There is no secondary rebound phenomenon after the Impact head Impact test plate.
Features
Impact height can reach 120 cm, Division is 1 cm, easy to set accurately.
Impact force is stable with 2000g standard hammer mass.
3. Equipped with an Impact head with a diameter of 16mm and an Impact depth of 2.5mm, it meets specific test requirements.
4. The cushion block concave hole is designed to match the Impact head, and the radius of curvature is 2.5-3 mm.
5. No secondary rebound after impact to ensure accurate test results.
6. The structural design is easy to operate, such as the controller screw to fix the height of the weight, and pressing the control screw to release the weight.
Principle
The working principle of the instrument is to release the weight through the mechanical structure for impact testing. First, the weight with the hook is fixed at the predetermined height indicated by the scale of the slide barrel by the controller screw. When the control screw is pressed, the controller spring is compressed, so that the control slider, the round hole of the upper cover and the lower bottom of the controller are aligned, resulting in the peeling of the hook, and the weight falls freely. The falling hammer body strikes the punch rod, and the punch rod transmits the impact force to the test plate placed on the pillow pad block. After the impact is completed, lift the weight and remove the test plate, and observe the condition of the paint film to evaluate its impact resistance.
Applications
Film impact resistance test, powder lame plating profile coating performance evaluation, organic coating rapid deformation test
Standards
GB/T1732—93、GB/T5237.4-2000、ASTM·D2794-92
Steps
1. Plate placement: Place the prepared plate paint film up on the pillow pad concave hole and close to the pillow pad. Impact points should be at least 15 mm away from the edge of the test plate, or in the middle of the test plate. If multiple tests are carried out on the same test plate, the edge spacing of each Impact point should also be at least 15 mm.
2. Set the height: Loosen the controller screw to move the controller up and down along the slide tube. Coincide the positioning mark line with the scale line of the required height on the slide tube, and then tighten the controller screw to fix the weight height.
3. Conduct the test: After completing the height setting and placing the test plate, press the control screw, and the heavy hammer will freely fall the Impact punch rod and the test plate.
4. Result observation: Lift the weight and hang the hook by the controller, and take out the test plate. Use 4 times magnifying glass to observe whether the paint film is crazing, wrinkling or flaking. The specific test method shall be subject to the relevant standards.
Notice
Before testing, please ensure that all components of the instrument are in good condition and perform specific operations according to relevant standards.
* When placing the test plate, the Impact point must be at least 15mm from the edge of the test plate or the edge of the existing Impact point.
* When setting the height of the weight, make sure that the positioning marking line and the sliding tube scale line coincide accurately before tightening the fixing screw.
When pressing the control screw to release the weight, the operation should be smooth.
* After the test, use 4 times magnifying glass to carefully check the condition of the paint film.
* The technical specifications of this instrument (such as Impact Depth, Pillow Block Aperture, etc.) must meet the specific requirements of the execution standard.
* Specific test methods, panel preparation and determination of results must be subject to the formal provisions in Applicable standards such as GB/T1732-93, GB/T5237.4-2000 or ASTM D 2794-92.
