The YD5050 Grating Spectroscopic Density Instrument is a High Accuracy measuring instrument of the 3nh brand, which fully complies with the ISO 5-4 standard and supports the MO, M1, M2, M3 test conditions specified in ISO 13655. It can accurately realize ISO Status T, E, A, I Density measurement. The instrument is widely used in inks printing mills, paper mills, traffic road signs industry, Spinning & weaving clothing printing and dyeing industries, as well as scientific research institutions, mass testing institutions, and laboratories. It has the characteristics of stability, accuracy and powerful functions.

Principle
Under the CIE recommended 45/0 geometrical optics lighting conditions, based on the MO, M1, M2, M3 test conditions specified in the ISO 13655 standard, the instrument uses a 256-pixel dual-array CMOS image sensor to measure the reflectance data of the sample by combining LED Illuminant and concave grating spectroscopy. It can accurately measure Density Index, color difference formula and Color Index in multiple Color Spaces for accurate Color Quality Control.

Steps
1. Connect the instrument to the computer (optional), using USB or Bluetooth communication mode.
2. Select the measurement diameter (φ 2mm, φ 4mm, φ 8mm, etc.).
3. Set the measurement conditions (such as M0, M1, M2, M3) and the viewing angle (CIE 2 °/10 °).
4. Select the measurement mode (single measurement or average measurement 2~ 99 times).
Align the sample for measurement in about 1.5 seconds.
6. View and store measurement data (up to 20,000).
7. Use PC-side software for data analytics and function expansion.
