Overview
The DONGRU DR83 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a High Accuracy Portable Thickness Gauge designed using the ultrasonic Measurement principle. It uses a high-speed processor and a highly integrated chip to nondestructive, fast, and accurate measurement of the thickness and Speed of sound of a variety of materials, suitable for a variety of materials that can penetrate at a constant speed and generate reflected waves, such as metals, quartz, Glass, plastics, etc.

Principle
The instrument uses the ultrasonic Measurement principle to transmit ultrasonic waves to the measured object through Probe. Ultrasonic waves penetrate the object at a constant speed and generate reflected waves on the other side or at internal defects. The instrument receives the reflected waves and calculates the propagation time, so as to accurately measure the thickness of the object.

Steps
1. Place the Probe on the contact surface on the side of the object to be measured.
2. The instrument can quickly and accurately measure and display the thickness of the measured object.
