Overview
The DONGRU DR85 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a High Accuracy Portable Thickness Gauge designed using the ultrasonic Measurement principle. It uses a high-speed processor and a highly integrated chip to nondestructive, fast, and accurate measurement of thickness and Speed of sound in a variety of materials, suitable for materials that can penetrate at a constant speed and generate reflected waves. The instrument is easy to operate and quickly obtains thickness data by placing the Probe on the side of the object being measured.

Principle
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge works on the principle of Ultrasonic Measurement. The instrument emits ultrasonic pulses that penetrate the object under test at a constant speed and produce reflected waves on the other side or at internal defects. The instrument calculates the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the material through a high-speed processor, and combines the known or set Speed of sound of the material to accurately calculate the thickness of the object under test.

Steps
1. Place the Probe on the contact surface on the side of the object to be measured.
