Overview
The HBO CY-200 Roughness Gauge is a computer-powered Portable measurement device for the measurement of surface roughness on a wide range of machined parts. The instrument calculates parameters according to selected conditions and displays all measurement results clearly on an LCD display, while supporting communication with a PC for data analytics and printing.
Features
1. Multi-Parameter measurement: Support Ra and Rz parameters.
2. High Accuracy Inductance Sensor.
3. Built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and charging control circuit, high capacity.
4. Mechatronics design, small size, light weight, easy to use.
5. With automatic shutdown function.
6. With metric-to-metric conversion function.
7. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC.
8. Provide Bluetooth data output.
Principle
When measuring, the Sensor is placed on the measured surface of the workpiece, and the driving mechanism drives the Sensor to slide along the surface at an equal speed. The Sensor has a built-in sharp stylus to sense asperity. The displacement of the stylus changes the inductance of the inductor coil, and generates an analog signal proportional to the asperity at the output of the phase-sensitive rectifier. The signal is amplified and level converted into the data collection system. The DSP chip performs digital filtering and parameter calculation, and the result is displayed on the liquid crystal display and can be transmitted to the PC.
Applications
Production site, machined parts surface roughness measurement
Standards
GB/T 6062、ISO、DIN、ANSI、JIS
Steps
1. Place the Sensor on the measured surface of the workpiece.
2. Start the instrument, Sensor automatically glides along the surface for measurement.
3. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the measurement parameters.
4. Optional communication with PC for data analytics or printing.
Notice
* The operation temperature range is 0~ 50 ℃, and the humidity is less than 80% RH.
* Make sure the Sensor stylus is in correct contact with the measured surface during measurement.
Check the battery level before use to avoid operating at low power.
* Avoid Severe Impact or Contamination of Sensors.
Periodically calibrate instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
