Overview
The PHYNIX Surfix SX-F1.5 Coating thickness gauge is a professional measurement coating thickness device with a colourful graphical display that supports multilingual operation (including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Czech and Chinese). The device has built-in memory to store up to 2,000 measurements, is connected to a computer via a USB 2.0 interface, and is accompanied by the PHYNIX.connect data transfer program to transfer measurements to Excel. The Surfix SX model can connect to all Probes in the PHYNIX Probe program for maximum flexibility, while the Surfix EX model is equipped with a fixed standard Probe for well-defined measurement tasks and is more cost-effective.

Principle
The Coating thickness gauge uses the magnetic Induction measurement principle to detect coating thickness with Probe. The device automatically identifies the base material and provides accurate Film thickness readings with a resolution of 0.1μm.
