Overview
The American RDS #34 wire-wound rod Coater is used to prepare wet films with a thickness of 77.7 μm. Its fine craftsmanship ensures excellent smoothness and reproducibility of the coating, making the film highly uniform. This product offers more than 80 models to choose from, suitable for preparing wet films of different thicknesses. It is divided into wire-wound and extrusion types to accommodate different user preferences, and custom services are also available for users in special industries.
Features
1. Capable of preparing wet films with a thickness of 77.7μm.
2. The coating exhibits excellent smoothness and reproducibility.
3. The coating is highly uniform.
4. Over 80 models are available for selection.
5. Available in two types: wire-wound and extrusion.
6. Customization services are provided.
Principle
The RDS wire rod Coater rolls a stainless steel wire rod over the substrate surface, utilizing the gaps formed by the wires to control the coating thickness, thereby preparing a uniform wet film of a specific thickness.
Applications
Paint preparation, film testing, laboratory research, quality control
Steps
1. Evenly pour the coating onto the substrate surface.
2. Hold both ends of the coating rod and place it on the coating at an appropriate angle.
3. Pull the coating rod steadily and evenly to ensure uniform application of the coating.
4. After completing the application, measure whether the wet film thickness meets the requirements.
