Overview
IMT-210D Microcomputer Thickness Tester is an instrument for accurate measurement of paper, Cardboard, Nonwovens, Films, Spinning & weaving products and other sheet material thickness. It can be targeted according to material type (such as Encasement paper, Spreader printing paper, Corrugated Board, carton, mica sheet and sheet composite).
Features
1. Measurement range, up to 0~ 6mm, resolution up to 0.001mm.
2. Small indication variability, ≤ 0.002mm or ≤ 0.5% to ensure measurement Stability.
3. Measurement surface parallelism is high, ≤ 0.001mm, improve Measurement accuracy.
4. Measurement speed adjustable (1mm/s~ 60mm/s), adapt to different test needs.
5. The voltage regulation time is adjustable (0.1 to 5 seconds), the number of continuous measurements can be selected (1 to 99 times), and the operation is flexible.
6. Contact pressure standard (100 +/- 10kPa), accurate contact area (200 +/- 5mm ²).
7. The probe descent speed is adjustable (0.5~ 10mm/s), and the TAPPI standard speed can be customized (1.0 +/- 0.3mm/s).
Principle
The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer to drive the probe down at a set speed, so that the measurement surface is in contact with the sample and the standard pressure is applied (100 +/- 10kPa). After the voltage regulation setting time, the system accurately measures the distance between the two parallel measurement surfaces, that is, the sample thickness, and displays the data digitalization through a high-resolution Sensor.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard, Nonwoven Fabrics, Films, Spinning & Weaving Products, Corrugated Boards, Cartons, Mica Sheets, Sheet Composites
Standards
GB/T6672、GB/T 451.3、QB/T 1055、ISO 534、GB/T 6547、GB/T 24328.2
Steps
1. Place the instrument in a working environment that meets the requirements (temperature 10~ 35 ° C, relative humidity ≤ 85%).
2. Start the machine to warm up, and set the appropriate Measurement parameters (such as Measurement speed, voltage regulation time, continuous measurement times) according to the type of material to be measured.
3. Place the sample flat on the instrument chassis.
4. Start the measurement, the probe drops according to the set speed, contacts the sample and stabilizes the pressure for automatic measurement.
5. Read or record the thickness measurement results on the display screen.
6. Multiple continuous measurements can be made, and the probe is raised and the sample is taken out after the test is completed.
Notice
• Before use, please ensure that the instrument operates in a standard working environment (temperature 10~ 35 ° C, Humidity ≤ 85%).
• Measurement speed, pressure and voltage regulation time should be set correctly according to Sample type before measurement.
• Place the sample to ensure it is flat, wrinkle-free, and completely covers the measurement area.
• Regularly clean the measurement surface to maintain its parallelism and cleanliness to ensure Measurement accuracy.
• Instrument indication variability should be checked regularly to ensure compliance with the requirements of ≤ 0.002mm or ≤ 0.5%.
• When moving or transporting the instrument, handle it with care to avoid severe vibration affecting the accuracy.
