Paper Burst resistance tester IMT-201BT is used to detect the Burst Strength and Burst Resistance Index of paper, suitable for Cardboard, Kraft Paper, Cardboard, Corrugated, Greyboard and other papers.

Principle
The instrument clamps the paper sample through the upper and lower clamping rings, uses a fully enclosed oil pressure system to generate stable pressure, and applies uniform pressure to the paper at an oil feeding speed of 95 +/- 5mL/min. Burst Strength and Burst Resistance Index are determined by measuring the pressure value when the paper is broken.

Steps
1. Prepare paper samples
2. Place the sample between the upper and lower clamping rings
3. Set the appropriate clamping force (100~ 1200Kpa)
4. Start the test, and the instrument automatically applies pressure
5. Observe the real-time test data on the display
6. Read Burst Strength and Burst Resistance Index after the test is completed
7. Use a thermal printer to output test results
Notice
• Ensure that the aperture of the upper and lower clamping rings meets the standard requirements: the aperture of the upper clamping ring is φ (30.5 +/- 0.1) mm, and the aperture of the lower clamping ring is φ (33.1 +/- 0.1) mm
• Regularly check the film resistance to ensure that it is within the range of 30 +/- 5kPa
• Keep the hydraulic system fully enclosed to prevent collisions
• Confirm that the oil delivery speed is 95 +/- 5mL/min before testing
• Note that the instrument weight is 45Kg, be careful when handling
• Check the concentricity of the upper and lower plates before use ≤ 0.25mm
• Ensure that the deformation error is controlled within the range of ≤ 1mm
