Overview
YN-TQD01 Schopper Air Permeability Tester is a professional testing instrument designed according to the Schopper method to measure the breathability performance of various types of paper. Flow rate and other parameters are calculated by adjusting the water pressure on both sides of the instrument to form a constant pressure difference, and measuring the air perpendicular to a specific area of the sample in a specific time. The instrument is widely used in paper mills, scientific research institutions and Quality control departments.
Features
1. The barometer bracket adopts anti-corrosion structure treated with aluminum alloy anode;
2. The valve material uses pure copper valves to prevent rusting and blocking the valve;
3. The upper and lower end covers are made of stainless steel, which is not rusting in contact with water for a long time;
4. The sample fixture adopts a built-in structure to avoid peeling of the rubber pad caused by long-term use.
Principle
Paper Air Permeability Working Principle is the average air Flow rate per unit area of paper sheet under specified conditions, Measurement unit time and unit pressure difference. Air Permeability is expressed in microns per Pascal, that is, 1 μm/(Pa · S) = 1 mL/(m ² · Pa · S).
Applications
Industrial Paper, Food Encasement Paper, Cement Bag Paper, Paper Bag Paper, Electrical Insulating Paper, Copy Paper, Plastic film, Sheet, Diaphragm, Encasement printing paper, Cardboard, Fiber Composite Cardboard, Metal Sheet, Silicon Wafer, Foil, Corrugated Base Paper, Core Paper, Spinning & Weaving Materials, Nonwoven Fabrics, Solid Electrical Insulation Materials, Adhesive Tapes, Geosynthetics, Rubber
Standards
ISO 5636.2、GB/T 458、QB/T1667
Steps
1. Prepare the specimen and install it into the built-in fixture.
2. Adjust the water pressure on both sides of the instrument to form a constant pressure difference;
3. Flow rate of air passing vertically through a specific area of the sample in a specific time measurement;
4. Calculate parameters such as air permeability according to the measurement results.
Notice
• Ensure that environmental conditions are within the range of (0~ 35) ° C, Humidity is less than 85%;
• Regularly check valves and fixtures to prevent rusting or peeling;
• Measurement range 0~ 1000ml/min;
• Maintain the accuracy of the test area of 10 +/- 0.2 cm ²;
• Note that the pressure difference range is controlled between 0.1kpa and 2.0kpa.
