Overview
The Defelsko Standard SPG1-E surface roughness meter is the standard model of the SPG series, with a built-in stylus design, designed to test the surface profile asperity of sand blasting steel. The measurement thickness range is 0 to 500 microns, which is suitable for fast and accurate measurement of the asperity of large flat surfaces.
Features
1. Simple: Measurement speed is fast, more than 50 readings per minute; enhanced one-handed operation menu navigation; reset function can immediately restore factory settings.
2. Durable: aluminum oxide wear-resistant surface and tungsten carbide tip, long life and continuous accuracy; anti-solvent, acid, oil, water and dust, weathering resistance; sturdy design for outdoor/indoor use; equipped with shock-absorbing rubber protective holster, belt clip and wristband; host and Probe warranty for two years.
3. Accurate: Built-in temperature compensation ensures accurate measurement; Traceability to PTB with calibrated certificate; Glass calibrated plate and metal gasket included; Complies with national and international standards such as ASTM D4417 Method B and SSPC-PA17.
4. Multipurpose: The positector host is compatible with all Positector 6000, 200, DPM, UTG, RTR and SPG Probe, and can be easily converted into a layer thickness gauge, dew point gauge, surface profile measuring instrument or powder wall thickness gauge.
Principle
Standard SPG1-E surface roughness instrument with built-in stylus measurement surface profile asperity, built-in temperature compensation function to ensure accuracy, suitable for sand blasting steel and other materials rapid detection.
Applications
Sand blasting steel
Standards
ASTM D4417-B、SSPC-PA17、AS 3894.5-C、U.S. Navy NSI 009-32、SANS 5772
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Use the one-handed operation menu to navigate and select Measurement mode.
3. Contact the tip of the stylus with the sand blasting steel surface for measurement.
4. Read and record data, up to 50 readings per minute.
5. Use the reset function to restore the factory settings.
Notice
• Make sure the stylus tip is clean to avoid affecting accuracy.
• The instrument is resistant to solvents, acids, oils, water and dust, but still needs to avoid extreme environments.
• Check the battery level before use to ensure normal power supply.
• The host and Probe are guaranteed for two years, and abnormal use may void the warranty.
• Keep the surface flat during measurement for accurate readings.
