Overview
The RDS 34 #3/8 "Formed Applicator rod is a 9.5mm diameter Mayer Rods with a wet film thickness of 77.7μm and a total application width of 300mm and a total length of 400mm. Using formed production process and stainless steel material, it is suitable for film applications in inks, colorants, architectural coatings, Gloss oil, lithium batteries and other fields.
Features
1. Provide 6.35mm, 9.5mm, 12.7mm three diameter options, of which 9.5mm diameter is the series preferred by domestic users.
2. Can be equipped with China Coater to realize automatic film function.
3. Wire-wound and formed film have the same effect.
4. Made of stainless steel for strong durability.
Principle
Spreader the coating evenly on the surface of the substrate to form a wet film thickness of 77.7μm. Wire-wound and formed designs achieve consistent film effects.

Steps
1. Prepare RDS 34 #3/8 "Applicator rod and Spreader material.
2. Applicator rod mounted on the Spreader (if applicable).
3. Apply the coating evenly to the surface of the substrate.
4. Spreader operation with Applicator rod to ensure 300mm width coverage.
5. Check whether the wet film thickness meets the requirements of 77.7μm.
