Overview
PN-BSM160F paper Burst resistance tester is a Mullen-type instrument designed according to the national standard GB/T 454 and ISO 2758. It is suitable for Burst Strength testing of single-layer and multi-layer papers in the range of 70kPa~ 1400kPa, and is not suitable for composite such as Corrugated Board. The instrument is used to measure the ability of cartons to withstand handling, loading and unloading, impact and other forces during circulation. It has functions such as parameter testing, data processing, display, memory, printing and automatic reset. It is easy to operate and has stable performance.
Features
1. Adopt new module circuit design, with WIFI Internet of Things function, can save test results to Cloud as a Service, query and generate reports through QMS quality management system.
2. It has the function of prompting that the sample is not placed to reduce misoperation.
3. The sample clamping force can be adjusted, and the parameters are preset for one-button testing.
4. After the test is completed, the high-speed return journey will improve the testing efficiency.
5. With emergency stop button, with over-range prompt function.
6. With statistical function, it can display the average, Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variation.
7. Units can be switched: kPa, kgf/cm2, lbf/in2.
8. Can be connected to computer software, with real-time display of Compression Linear dispersion and Data analysis management, saving, printing and other functions.
Principle
The instrument uniformly increases the vertical pressure on the surface of the sample at a hydraulic system of 95 +/- 5mL/min until the sample breaks to determine its Burst Strength. The sample is fixed by a clamping system with adjustable clamping force, and the system has good sealing performance to ensure Test accuracy.

Steps
Connect the power supply (AC220V +/- 10% 50Hz) and the necessary air source (e.g. using an air Compressor).
2. Start the machine to warm up and set the test parameters (e.g. unit, clamping force, etc.).
3. Place the sample in the test area, and the instrument has a prompt function for not placing the sample.
4. Start the test, automatically pressurize the instrument until the specimen breaks, and record the data.
5. After the test is completed, the instrument is reset at high speed.
6. View and analyze data (e.g. averages, Standard Deviation, etc.) through Touchscreen or connected computer software, and print or save to the cloud.
Notice
* This instrument is not suitable for composites such as Corrugated Board or Padded Cardboard.
* The working environment should be kept at indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, relative humidity < 85%.
* Ensure the sealing of the system, check regularly, and the pressure drop should be less than 10% of the full scale within 1 minute.
The film resistance must meet the standard: when the protruding height is (9 +/- 0.2) mm, the resistance is (30 +/- 5) kPa.
Use the emergency stop button to respond to emergencies.
Pay attention to the range of the instrument and avoid using it beyond the range.
* Non-standard air Compressors must meet the requirements of pressure (0.6~ 0.7) MPa and exhaust volume (0.02~ 0.3) m ³/min.
* Net weight of the instrument is about 68kg, and attention should be paid to safety during handling and installation.
