Overview
The YH1210 horizontal fog meter is a multi-function light transmitter and haze test instrument that can easily realize ASTM D1003 non-compensated and ISO 13468 compensated testing. The open sample compartment design supports vertical and horizontal test modes to accommodate a variety of tested samples. The instrument is equipped with PD array detectors to meet CIE V (lambda) 2 degree visual Response, and compensated measurement ensures High Accuracy and repeatability of light transmitance and haze data.

Principle
The YH1210 haze meter adopts transmission illumination mode 0/D (parallel light illumination, diffuse reflection reception), uses 400~ 700nm combined LED Illuminant and PD array detector to meet the CIE V (lambda) 2 degree visual Response. Accurate measurement of light transmitter and haze is realized through integrating sphere system, and compensation method technology ensures data Reliability and Repeatability.

Steps
1. Instrument preheating correction
2. Select the testing standard (ASTM or ISO)
3. Place the sample in the open measurement area
4. Select vertical or horizontal test mode
5. Start the measurement and complete the test in about 1.5 seconds
6. View results through Touchscreen or connect to computer software to analyze data

• The instrument needs to be used within the operating Temperature range of 0~ 40 ℃
• Sample thickness should be less than 105mm
• Instrument preheating calibration is required before measurement
• Power supply with DC 24V, 3A Power Adapter
• Storage Temperature range -20~ 50 ℃
• Periodic inspection of Illuminant status, Illuminant life is about 5 years
