Overview
The YH1100 fog meter (basic type) easily implements ASTM D1003 non-compensated, full light transmitance and haze testing. The open sample compartment supports vertical and horizontal testing to accommodate more samples under test. It uses PD array detectors to meet the CIE V (lambda) 2 degree visual Response, compensated measurement for High Accuracy and repeability of light transmitance and haze data measurement.

Principle
YH1100 fog meter adopts transmission illumination mode: 0/D (parallel light illumination, diffuse reflection reception), using 400~ 700nm combination LED Illuminant lighting, PD array detector induction, to meet the CIE V (lambda) 2 degree visual Response, through the integrating sphere system to achieve accurate measurement of haze and light transmitance.

Steps
1. Instrument preheating correction
2. Place the sample in the open measurement area, choose vertical or horizontal test
3. Start measurement via Touchscreen operation
4. Read haze and light transmitance data after measurement
5. Data analysis via USB interface or using quality management software
