Overview
Shanghai JINGTIAN LVDV-1 digital Rotational Viscometer is a digital Rotational Viscometer with a range of 12~ 6,000,000 mPa · s. Its LCD screen can display viscosity, shear rate, shear stress, speed, temperature, percentile torque, rotor number and the maximum viscosity value of the selected rotor at the current speed. This model is equipped with a small number of sample adapters, including one rotor of No. 21, 27, 28, and 29. The sample volume is only 10~ 20mL, which is suitable for expensive sample testing.

Principle
The LVDV-1 digital display Rotational Viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample, and the Tack resistance to the rotor causes torque changes. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample by measuring the torque required to maintain the set speed, combined with parameters such as rotor specifications and speed. The small number of sample adapters equipped enable accurate measurement of small sample volumes by optimizing the design of the sample cavity.

Steps
Choose the appropriate rotor (L1, L2, L3, L4, 21 #, 27 #, 28 #, 29 #) according to the estimated viscosity.
2. Install the selected rotor.
3. Take 10 to 20 mL of sample and inject it into the sample adapter.
4. Immerse the rotor into the sample to the specified marking line.
5. Thermostatic bath (if temperature control is required).
6. Turn on the power supply and set the required speed (0.1 to 99.9rpm) through the continuously variable transmission mode.
7. After the reading is stable, read the viscosity and other related data from the LCD screen.
Notice
Please use a dedicated power adapter (input 100~ 240V, 50~ 60Hz).
* Select the appropriate rotor and rotational speed combination according to the estimated viscosity of the sample to ensure that the measurement value is within the maximum measurable viscosity range at the current rotational speed of the selected rotor.
When using a small sample adapter, ensure that the sample volume is between 10 and 20 milliliters.
* When connecting a Thermostatic bath, make sure it has external circulation for effective temperature control.
* Thoroughly clean the rotor and sample adapter before measurement and after sample replacement.
Please pay attention to the operation when loading and unloading the rotor and cleaning to avoid damage.
* Instrument reproducibility is +/- 0.5% F.S. Measurement accuracy is +/- 1% F.S. Please consider this margin of error when evaluating data.
