The LVDV-1 digital display Rotational Viscometer works based on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The motor drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample, and the Tack resistance to the rotor causes torque changes. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample by measuring the torque required to maintain the set speed, combined with parameters such as rotor specifications and speed. The small number of sample adapters equipped enable accurate measurement of small sample volumes by optimizing the design of the sample cavity.

Choose the appropriate rotor (L1, L2, L3, L4, 21 #, 27 #, 28 #, 29 #) according to the estimated viscosity. 2. Install the selected rotor. 3. Take 10 to 20 mL of sample and inject it into the sample adapter. 4. Immerse the rotor into the sample to the specified marking line. 5. Thermostatic bath (if temperature control is required). 6. Turn on the power supply and set the required speed (0.1 to 99.9rpm) through the continuously variable transmission mode. 7. After the reading is stable, read the viscosity and other related data from the LCD screen.
