The digital Rotational Viscometer works based on the swirl/spin Measurement principle. The instrument drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin at a set speed in the sample, and the Tack resistance of the rotor in the fluid generates torque. The instrument calculates the viscosity value of the sample and the Miscellaneous rheological parameters such as shear rate and shear stress through accurate measurement of this torque value, combined with parameters such as rotor specification and speed.

1. According to the estimated sample viscosity range, select the appropriate rotor and install it on the Viscometer. 2. Pour 10 to 20 mL of the tested sample into the adapter container. 3. Slowly lower the Viscometer host with the rotor installed so that the rotor is immersed in the sample to the specified marking line. 4. If temperature control is required, connect the external circulation Thermostatic bath and set the required temperature until the sample temperature is stable. 5. Turn on the power and set the required measurement speed through the instrument panel. 6. Start the measurement, after the reading is stable, read the viscosity and Miscellaneous related parameters from the LCD screen. 7. After the measurement is completed, raise the main engine, remove the rotor and clean it.
* Please select the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the estimated viscosity to ensure that the measurement value is within the range of the instrument. When installing and removing the rotor, care should be taken to avoid damage to the shaft or rotor connector. * Ensure that the rotor is fully immersed in the sample to the specified marking line and that the rotor is centered in the sample to reduce measurement errors. * Before measurement, ensure that the sample temperature is uniform and stable, and temperature changes will affect the viscosity measurement results. * After use, the rotor and sample adapter should be thoroughly cleaned in time to prevent sample residues from affecting subsequent Measurement accuracy or corroding parts.
