Overview
This instrument is a YOUKE brand YK3054 hot wire tester (Touchscreen), which is used for electronic, electrical components or parts that may reach excessive temperatures or ignite parts near them under fault or overload conditions. The hot wire test simulates the thermal stress caused by heat sources or ignition sources such as hot components or overloaded resistors in a short time, and uses simulation technology to evaluate the risk of ignition. It is suitable for plastics and Non-metallic insulating materials used in electrical and electronic products, components, and household appliance parts, such as switch housings and relay sockets.

Principle
The glowing wire test simulates the thermal stress caused by a heat source or ignition source such as a glowing element or an overloaded resistor in a short period of time, and uses simulation technology to evaluate the fire hazard. The instrument automatically controls the trolley to run the sample to the glowing wire at the set temperature, and automatically returns after a preset time, while recording the relevant time parameters.

Steps
1. Start the instrument.
2. Clamp the sample onto the trolley.
3. Set the burning time and temperature parameters.
4. The trolley automatically moves the sample to the hot wire.
5. After reaching the set time, the trolley will automatically return.
6. Observe and record test data through Touchscreen and print it.
Notice
• Power supply voltage is AC 220V/50Hz.
• The sample pressure needs to be controlled at 1.0 +/- 0.2N, and the pressing depth is limited to 7mm +/- 0.5mm.
• Temperature range of the glowing wire is adjustable, but pay attention to the temperature tolerance error: 500~ 750 ℃ +/- 5 ℃; 750~ 960 ℃ +/- 10 ℃.
• Test space should be ≥ 0.5m ³, and the illumination in the box should be less than 20LUX.
• Using imported K-type Thermocouple, the specification is φ 1.0mm nickel-chromium armor.
