Overview
JFL QHQ-A Pencil hardness tester is a test instrument designed and manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T5739-1996 for measuring the Hardness of paint films. According to different test requirements, three kinds of Nominal Mass of 500g, 750g and 1000g are produced. The instrument adopts mechanical structure design. It contacts the tested surface through two rounds and three points of the refill. The refill maintains a 45-degree angle with the test film surface. The Hardness value of the paint film is determined by pushing the hardness tester.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T5739-1996 standards
2. Provide 500g, 750g, 1000g three Nominal Mass options
3. Mechanical structure design, three points contact test surface
4. Maintain a standard angle of 45 degrees between the refill and the test surface
5. 13 Chinese pencils as standard
Principle
The JFL pencil hardness tester touches the tested surface through two rounds and three points of the refill, and the refill remains at a 45-degree angle to the test film surface. By pushing the hardness tester to move on the test sample and advancing at a specific speed, the Hardness value of the paint film is determined according to the situation of the pencil plow wound film.
Steps
1. Place the pencil hardness tester on a flat countertop and place the pad on the lower part of the hardness tester
2. Insert the sharpened pencil into the main hole, the edge of the pencil contacts the workbench, and tighten the screws
3. Place the hardness tester on the test board and advance at a speed of about 1mm per second
4. Start with the hardest pencil and plow five 3mm long marks per pencil until you find a pencil that does not plow the film
Notice
• The test sample needs to use a smooth tinplate with a specification of 120 * 50 * (0.2-0) mm or Miscellaneous
• The pencil lead needs to be sharpened to expose the cylindrical lead lead 5-6mm, and the lead should not be loosened or cut.
• The end face of the refill should be rubbed on the sandpaper until the end face is flat and the edge is sharp, and the edge must not be crushed or notched.
• The pencil should be swirled/spun 180 ° after each use before use, or reground before use
• This pencil hardness tester corresponds to a single weight. If you need to have three weights, you need to contact customer service.
