Principle
The principle of ultrasonic measurement Film thickness is similar to the light wave measurement principle. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by Probe reaches the measured object and propagates in the object, and is reflected back to Probe when it reaches the material interface. Film thickness of the measured material is determined by accurate measurement of the time of ultrasonic wave propagation in the material.

• The instrument and Probe are suitable for a surface temperature environment of -10~ 60 ° C (standard Probe).
• Standard L51 standard Probe measurement range is 1.0mm~ 250.0mm (steel), and the minimum measurable pipe diameter is φ 20 × 3.0mm.
• Powered by AA type alkaline batteries (2 cells), the operation time is about 200 hours.
• Select the appropriate Probe according to the measurement requirements (e.g. thin wall, small arc surface, coarse crystal material, high temperature material).
• Make sure that the back of the tested material can reflect ultrasonic waves during measurement.
