Overview
Leeb610C Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment is a device that uses a magnetic yoke to exchange magnetization of ferromagnetic workpieces. It can perform magnetization testing on various parts, including local magnetization testing of large parts. It is suitable for external magnetic testing and remanence magnetic testing. The instrument adopts thyristor touchpoint switch, low noise, long life, small size, light weight, large lifting force, adjustable joints, suitable for flat welds, fillet welds, Pressure Vessel, pipes and complex parts. Low voltage output is suitable for occasions where high voltage is not allowed to enter the equipment for flaw detection.
Features
1. Adopt thyristor touchpoint switch, low noise and long life
2. Small size, light weight, large lifting force
3. Adjustable living joints to adapt to different shapes of workpieces
4. Low voltage output, safe and reliable
5. Equipped with a variety of probes for wide applicability
6. Portable design, flexible operation
Principle
The instrument uses the yoke to AC magnetize the ferromagnetic workpiece, and the magnetization process is realized by the touchpoint switch composed of thyristor. The probe generates magnetic fields according to different types, such as the electromagnetic yoke probe adjusts the magnetic pole spacing through the living joint, the horseshoe probe is aimed at the fillet weld, and the magnetic ring is used for circumferential crazing detection and demagnetization.
Applications
Aerospace, Aviation, Railway, Automobile, Marine, Pressure Vessel, Machinery
Standards
Type A 1 #test piece shows clearly
Steps
1. Connect power supply, input voltage AC 220V +/- 10%
2. Select the probe type as required (e.g. Type A electromagnetic yoke probe)
3. Adjust the probe joint to adapt to the shape of the workpiece
4. Place the probe on the surface of the workpiece for magnetization
5. Observe the magnetic particle display and detect crazing
6. Disconnect the power supply after use
Notice
• Input voltage must be AC 220V +/- 10% to avoid overvoltage or undervoltage
• Check whether the live joint is flexible before using the probe to ensure good contact
The output is low voltage, but it is still necessary to pay attention to safe operation
• The duty cycle is 50%, avoiding long-term continuous use
• Only randomly equipped with type A probes, Miscellaneous probes need to be optional
• Ensure that the surface of the workpiece is clean during flaw detection to avoid affecting the inspection effect
