Overview
American RDS #70 paints coating bar (model 70 #3/8) is an Applicator rod specially designed for experimental needs, suitable for preparing thicker films with a wet film thickness of 160 microns. The product is made of 303 austenitic stainless steel, which has corrosion resistance and is suitable for corrosion-resistant industries. Coating industry, longer service life. The molded design is easy to use in high viscosity experiments, not easy to block impurities, easy to operate.
Features
1. The wet film thickness is 160 microns, suitable for the preparation of thicker film experiments
2. Made of 303 austenitic stainless steel, with corrosion resistance and extended service life
3. Molded design, suitable for high viscosity experiments, not easy to clog impurities
4. Easy to operate, suitable for laboratory use
Principle
The Applicator rod is produced through a wire-wound process to form a uniform wet film thickness during the Spreader process. When used, the coating bar moves on the surface of the substrate, and the stainless steel wire controls the film thickness to 160 microns, which is suitable for various Coating experiments.
Applications
Experimental film, Coating industry, Coating application of corrosion
Steps
1. Preparation of Coatings and Substrates
2. Applicator rod placed on the substrate surface
3. Spreader by moving Applicator rod evenly
4. Cleaning tools after finishing the film
Notice
• Applicator rod clean before use to avoid impurities affecting film mass
• Suitable for experimental environment to avoid damage to tools due to excessive force
Keep drying during storage to prevent corrosion
• Only used to specify the type of Coating to avoid incompatible materials
