Overview
The AMITTARI AS-120A Shore Shore Durometer is one of the AS-120 series, which is mainly used to measure the hardness of materials such as materials. This model uses 0.79 truncated cone crimping needles, Measurement range is 20~ 90A, suitable for hardness testing of soft rubber, soft vulcanized rubber, natural rubber, nitrile rubber, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, waxes, felt products, leather products and other materials.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight.
2. With MAX Maximum latch, under-voltage alarm indication function, automatic shutdown and manual shutdown function.
3. Use USB data cable output to communicate with PC.
4. Provide Bluetooth data output selection.
5. When the battery voltage is lower than the specified value, it is automatically indicated.
6. Numbers show, ignoring the difference.
7. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation function.
8. Automatic shutdown and manual shutdown.
9. Using computer technology, digital filtering technology and other professional technologies, the material thickness can be accurately measured.
10. Using the optional RS232C software and cable, it can communicate with a PC computer for data acquisition, processing, analysis, and printing.
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer measures the Crain Hardness of the material by pressing the needle head (AS-120A model 0.79 truncated cone) into the surface of the measured material. The instrument uses digital display technology, combined with computer and digital filtering technology, to ensure measurement accuracy and Stability.
Applications
Soft rubber, soft vulcanized rubber, natural rubber, NBR, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, waxes, felt products, leather products
Standards
GB/T 531-1999、GB/T 2411-80、DIN53505、ISO868、ISO7619、ASTMD2240、JIS K7215
Steps
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged to avoid under-voltage alarms.
2. Select the material to be tested and clean the surface.
3. Press the hardness gauge needle vertically into the surface of the material.
4. Read Hardness, Average, or MAX Maximum on the digital display.
5. Optional USB, RS232C or Bluetooth output data to PC for further processing.
6. Manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown after use.
Notice
* Ambient Temperature should be kept at 0~ 40 ℃, Humidity less than 90% RH.
* Regularly check the battery voltage to avoid undervoltage affecting the Measurement accuracy.
Make sure the needle head is clean to avoid contamination affecting the test results.
* Keep the needle vertically pressed during measurement to avoid errors caused by tilt.
* Optional accessories include standard Hardness chip, USB data cable, RS232C data cable and Bluetooth output.
