Overview
The AMITTARI AS-120D Shore Shore Durometer is one of the AS-120 series, which is mainly used to determine the Cedar Hardness of materials. The series offers eight different models, corresponding to different measurement probes, measurable objects and Hardness value ranges, to meet the diverse needs of users for different hardness of materials measurement.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight
2. With MAX Maximum latch, undervoltage alarm indication function, automatic shutdown and manual shutdown function
3. Use USB data cable output to communicate with PC
4. Provide Bluetooth data output selection
5. When the battery voltage is lower than the specified value, it automatically indicates
6. Numbers are displayed, ignoring the difference
7. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation function
8. Automatic shutdown and manual shutdown
9. Using computer technology, digital filtering technology and other professional technologies, can accurately measure the thickness of the material
10. Utilize optional RS232C software and cables to communicate with PC computers for data acquisition, processing, analysis, and printing
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer evaluates the hardness of materials by measuring the Cedar Hardness of the material. The instrument uses a crimper to press into the surface of the material under test, determines the Hardness value according to the depth of pressing or resistance, and directly displays the measurement results through digital display technology.
Applications
Hard plastic, hard rubber, hard thermal plasticity plastic, hard thermal plasticity resilience
Standards
GB/T 531-1999、GB/T 2411-80、DIN53505、ISO868、ISO7619、ASTMD2240、JIS K7215
Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on
2. Select the appropriate Measurement unit and mode
3. Press the crimp vertically into the surface of the tested material
4. Read the Hardness value on the LCD display
5. MAX Maximum latch, average calculation and other functions can be used
6. Communicate with PC to transfer data through USB, Bluetooth or RS232C interface
7. Manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown after use
Notice
* Ambient Temperature should be kept in the range of 0~ 40 ℃
* Environmental humidity should be less than 90% RH
* Check battery voltage before use to avoid undervoltage affecting Measurement accuracy
* Make sure that the needle is pressed vertically into the material surface during measurement
* Regularly calibrated with standard Hardness sheets
* Avoid use in humid, dusty or corrosive environments
* Please remove the battery when not in use for a long time
