Overview
The AMITTARI AS-120DO Shore Shore Durometer is one of the AS-120 series, which is mainly used to determine the Closer Hardness of materials. It uses R1.2 hemispherical crimping needle, which is suitable for the measurement of moderate hard rubber, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, high density Spinning & weaving spindles, etc. Hardness values range greater than 90C and less than 20D.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight.
2. With MAX Maximum latch, under-voltage alarm indication function, automatic shutdown and manual shutdown function.
3. Use USB data cable output to communicate with PC.
4. Provide Bluetooth data output selection.
5. When the battery voltage is lower than the specified value, it is automatically indicated.
6. Numbers show, ignoring the difference.
7. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation function.
8. Automatic shutdown and manual shutdown.
9. Using computer technology, digital filtering technology and other professional technologies, the material thickness can be accurately measured.
10. Using the optional RS232C software and cable, it can communicate with a PC computer for data acquisition, processing, analysis, and printing.
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer applies pressure to the material through the indenter head to measure its Cedar Hardness. The AS-120DO uses an R1.2 hemispherical indenter, which converts to a Hardness value according to the indentation depth or resistance, and digitally displays and supports data output.
Applications
Moderate hard rubber, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, high density Spinning & weaving spindles
Standards
GB/T 531-1999、GB/T 2411-80、DIN53505、ISO868、ISO7619、ASTMD2240、JIS K7215
Steps
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged to avoid under-voltage alarms.
2. Select the male/imperial unit.
3. Apply pressure to the surface of the material under test by aligning the crimp.
4. Read the Hardness Value, Average or MAX Maximum on the LCD display.
5. Use the MAX Maximum latch function to record peaks.
6. Output data to PC via USB, RS232C or Bluetooth.
7. Manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown after measurement is completed.
Notice
* Ambient Temperature should be 0~ 40 ℃, Humidity less than 90% RH.
* When the battery voltage is lower than the specified value, replace it in time to avoid measurement errors.
* Use the pre-calibrated instrument to ensure that the measurement error is ≤ 1H.
* Avoid damage to the pressure needle and affect the Measurement accuracy.
* Optional accessories include standard Hardness chip, USB data cable, RS232C data cable and Bluetooth output module.
