Overview
US RDS #70 Molding Applicator rod is a film tool specially designed for experimental needs. The film thickness is 160 microns, which is suitable for preparing thicker films. The product is made of 303 austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, which is especially suitable for handling corrosion Coatings and extending service life. The molded design makes it suitable for high viscosity experiments, which is not easy to block impurities and is easy to operate.
Features
1. The film thickness is 160 microns, suitable for thicker film preparatory.
2. Made of 303 austenitic stainless steel, with corrosion resistance.
3. Molded design, suitable for high viscosity experiments, not easy to clog impurities.
4. Easy to operate and long service life.
Principle
The Applicator rod is formed through a formed production process to form a uniform wet-film with a thickness of 160.0 μm during the Spreader process. When used, the user places the Coating Spreader on the substrate and controls the film thickness and width through the movement of the rod to ensure the accuracy and conformity of the experimental coating.
Applications
Experimental film, Coating industry, Coating treatment of corrosion, High viscosity material Spreader
Steps
1. Prepare Coatings and Substrates.
2. Applicator rod is placed on the substrate.
3. Applicator rod evenly moved, control application width of 300mm.
4. After finishing the film, clean the tool.
Notice
• Applicator rod clean before use to avoid impurities affecting film mass.
• When dealing with corrosion Coatings, pay attention to personal protection.
• Spreader process to maintain uniform movement to obtain a uniform film thickness.
• Clean up in time after use to prolong the life of the product.
