Overview
Hypertherm Handheld Force Gauge HG-20 is a digital display Force Gauge with a maximum load Measured value of 20N and a load Graduation of 0.01N. It uses a segment LCD screen and has a backlight function, which is suitable for push-pull load testing, plug-and-pull force testing and failure testing of various products. It can be combined with different machines or fixtures to form small experimental machines with different purposes, which realizes convenient measurement and powerful functions.

Principle
The HG-20 handheld Force Gauge detects push and pull forces through built-in or external Sensors, converts the force value into an electrical signal, and displays it digitally on the segment LCD screen after conversion by ADC. It supports a variety of test modes, such as real-time tracking and peak hold, and can be combined with upper and lower limit setting and alarm functions for data judgment. With the electric testing device, advanced functions such as stop-if-break, reset and fatigue test can be realized.

Steps
1. Connecting contacts Connecting rods or clamps
2. Turn on the power and check the battery level.
3. Select the desired unit (e.g. N, Kgf, etc.)
4. Set the test mode (real-time force tracking, peak hold, or first peak mode)
5. Set the upper and lower limit comparison value, peak holding time, gravitational acceleration or automatic shutdown time as needed
6. Perform a push-pull force test and observe the display reading
7. Use the storage function to record data
8. After the test is completed, the data can be exported or reports can be generated through the Communication interface
Notice
• When the battery level shows very small, charge it in time to avoid automatic shutdown.
• Ensure that there is no vibration and corrosion medium around the working environment
• Operating temperature is 0~ 40 ℃, storage temperature is -20~ 70 ℃, relative humidity is 15%~ 80% RH
• Check that Sensors and Connections are in good condition before use
• Avoid over-range use to prevent damage to the instrument
