Principle
The instrument uses the principle of magnetic Induction to detect the nonmagnetic Coating thickness on all magnetic substrates by Fe function, such as lacquers on steel and iron, fire-proof coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, powder coatings, plastics, porcelain, chromium, copper, zinc, etc.
Applications
Automobile industry, manufacturing industry, metal processing industry, chemical industry, commodity inspection
Standards
National standards, international standards
Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries for power supply
2. Measurement mode: single measurement or continuous measurement
3. Touch the Probe surface for measurement
4. Switch metric/imperial units as needed (μm/mil)
5. Select manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown after use
Notice
Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on magnetic substrates
• Use ambient temperature range of -10-50 ℃, Humidity < 80%
• The thinnest substrate thickness is 0.3mm.
• Minimum radius of curvature: 1.5mm convex surface
• Avoid use beyond the specified environment conditions
• Protect Probes to Avoid Excessive Impact
