Overview
The QCJ-120A film impactor is a test instrument under the HuiNuo brand, which is mainly used to determine the impact performance of the paint film. The instrument drops the impact plate from a specific height with a fixed mass of weight, and characterizes the impact resistance of the paint film with the maximum height (cm) that does not cause the damage of the paint film. The impact head has no secondary rebound phenomenon after the impact plate.
Features
Impact height of up to 120 cm, Graduation of 1 cm, easy to set the test conditions accurately.
2. Equipped with impact heads of different specifications (e.g. 8mm or 16mm diameter) and pillow cushions to meet the requirements of different test standards.
3. The drop weight mass is accurate, such as the QCJ-120A model is (2000 +/- 1) g, to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
4. Impact depth control is accurate, such as (2.5 +/- 0.1) mm.
5. No secondary rebound after impact, ensuring the validity of single impact data.
6. The design conforms to a number of national and international standards.
Principle
The Working Principle of the instrument is to control the falling of the weight through the mechanical structure. During operation, the weight with the hook is fixed at a specific height as shown by the scale of the slide barrel through the controller screw. After pressing the control screw, the controller spring is compressed, so that the control slider, the round hole of the upper cover and the lower bottom of the controller are aligned, resulting in the peeling of the hook, and the weight falls freely. The weight strikes the punch rod, and the punch rod transmits the impact force to the test plate placed on the concave hole of the pillow pad. After the impact is completed, lift the weight and remove the test plate, and observe the condition of the paint film to evaluate its impact resistance.
Applications
Film impact resistance test, powder lame plating profile mass evaluation, organic coatings rapid deformation test
Standards
GB/T1732—93、GB/T5237.4-2000、ASTM·D2794-92
Steps
1. Placement of the test plate: put the prepared test plate paint film up and stick it to the concave hole of the pillow pad block to ensure that the impact point is not less than 15mm away from the edge of the test plate or between the impact points.
2. Height setting: Loosen the controller screw, move the controller up and down to make the positioning mark line coincide with the required height scale line on the slide, and then tighten the controller screw to fix.
3. Perform the test: Press the control screw so that the weight can fall freely on the Impact punch and the test plate.
4. Result observation: Lift the heavy hammer, take out the test plate, and use 4 times magnifying glass to observe whether the paint film has crazing, wrinkling or flaking. The specific test method should be subject to the relevant standards.
Notice
* When placing the test plate, the impact point should be at least 15mm away from the edge of the test plate. If multiple tests are carried out on the same test plate, the edge spacing of each impact point should also be at least 15mm.
* When setting the height of the weight, make sure that the positioning marking line and the sliding tube scale line are accurately coincided before tightening the fixing screw.
The determination of test results (e.g. observation of paint film damage) should be based on the specific provisions of the relevant standards.
* The test examples in this data are for reference only, and the operation should strictly follow the relevant provisions of the Applicable standards (such as GB/T 1732-93, GB/T 5237.4, ASTM D 2794-92).
