Overview
Holland TQC Hand Push Pencil hardness tester VF2377 is a standard test instrument designed according to the principle of pencil hardness testing. It is made of stainless steel and has good Abrasion Resistance and corrosion resistance. The product Encasement is designed with wooden shell, which can effectively prevent moisture and prevent equipment from being hit.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, wear-resistant and anti-corrosion
2. Wooden Encasement, Moisture-proof and Impact-proof
3. Coating Hardness measurement according to Wolff Wilborn specification
4. The test is fast and easy, suitable for experimental analysis and product quality control
5. Standard complete, including Pencil hardness tester, pencil sharpener and 20 different Hardness pencils
Principle
Use a pencil to scratch hardness test the coating, use a set of pencils with different grades of Hardness, form a 45-degree angle with the surface of the object, scratch the surface of the object with a constant force of 7.5N, and then evaluate whether the coating is damaged through Optical inspection.
Applications
Paints Coatings, Furniture, Automotive, PC board paints, single or multi-layer paints
Standards
ISO 15184、ASTM D3363、JIS K-5400、JIS K-5600、ECCA-T4-1、BS 3900-E19、SNV 37113、SIS 184187、NEN 5350、MIL C 27 227
Steps
Step 1 Release the bottom knob
2. Remove the original weight
3. Replace the new weight
4. Tighten the knob to fix the weight
5. Pencil hardness tester at a 45 degree angle to the test surface
6. Apply 7.5N constant force for scratch test
7. Optical inspection to assess coating damage
Notice
• Make sure the knob is fully tightened when changing the weight
The 45-degree angle should be kept constant during the test
• Equipment should be cleaned promptly after use
• Storage should be placed in Wooden Encasement Box to prevent moisture and collision
• Check the sharpness of the pencil before use to ensure the accuracy of the test
