Principle
The PosiTector 6000 FS3 Coating thickness gauge is based on the principle of magnetic Induction and uses Probe to detect nonmagnetic Coating thickness on ferrous metal substrates for accurate measurement.

Steps
1. Install 3 * AAA alkaline battery
2. Connect the FS3 Probe
3. Open the device and select the system language
4. Perform calibrating (using Defelsko calibrated STDS1 or STDA1)
5. Probe placed on a nonmagnetic coating of ferrous metal substrate to begin measurement
6. View measurement results and statistics with Touchscreen
7. Use the USB or Bluetooth interface to transfer data to the supporting PosiSoft software
8. Save or export measurement data
