The PosiTector 6000 FNS1 Coating thickness gauge uses the magnetic Induction and eddy Current dual Measurement principles. For ferrous metal substrates, the magnetic Induction principle is used to measure nonmagnetic Coating thickness; for non-ferrous metal substrates, the eddy Current principle is used to measure nonconductive Coating thickness. The instrument can automatically identify the substrate type and switch the corresponding Measurement mode.
