Overview
JINGKELIAN QNZ Stormer Viscometer is controlled by microcomputer technology and designed according to standard ASTM-D562 and GB9269-88 studies. The viscosity range of measurement is 53-141KU value, which can be used to determine paints and Miscellaneous. Coating viscosity is expressed in KU value. The QNZ Stormer Viscometer is powered by AC 220V to support the measurement work of the Viscometer, which can visually display the KU value of the viscosity of the measured sample, or the load value (unit: g) associated with the KU value.
Features
1. Microcomputer technology control, directly reading KU value or load value, no need to look up the table
2. Measurement range 53-141KU, suitable for viscosity determination of paints and coatings
3. 220V AC power supply
4. Equipped with Strobe Timer, can observe the stable Rotation speed state
5. Special bladed rotor design to ensure measurement accuracy
Principle
The QNZ Stormer Viscometer is controlled by a microcomputer. The Impeller blade is driven by a special constant Rotation speed motor with a rotation speed of 200 rpm. The resistance moment received by the Impeller blade in the tested sample swirl/spin is converted by the computer to the KU value. The experimenter can directly read the KU value of the sample or the associated load value from the QNZ Stormer Viscometer by placing the operator Impeller blade into the tested sample to a specified depth.
JINGKELIAN QNZ Stormer Viscometer uses the torque generated by the weight of the weight through a mechanical transmission system to drive the bladed rotor to rotate. Change the weight of the weight to make the bladed rotor rotate against the resistance of the Coating. When the Rotation speed reaches 200rpm, a basically stable bar pattern can be seen on the strobe Timer. At this time, the weight of the weight can be correspondingly converted into the viscosity value of the measured Coating, that is, the KU value.
Applications
Paints. Coatings
Standards
GB/T 9269、ASTM D 562
Steps
1. Impeller leaves into the sample to the specified depth
2. Start the instrument and the bladed rotor starts swirling/spinning
3. Rotation speed of 200rpm by changing Nominal Mass
4. Observe a basically stable bar pattern on the Strobe Timer
5. Read the sample's KU value or associated load value directly from the instrument
Notice
• There are precision measurement parts in the chassis, which should be handled with care
• It is a special instrument. Generally, please do not open the case of the Viscometer by yourself.
• When not in use temporarily, keep the lifting handle on the high limit device
• Remove the blades for cleaning after each test to keep the blades clean
• Please do not pinch the blade when swirling/spinning
• 1 year warranty, if the instrument is damaged due to improper use, it is not covered by the warranty
• You should come to the company for inspection regularly once a year, or send it to the relevant Measurement Supervision Department for inspection once a year
