GB/T 23711.5-2019 "Test Methods for Plastic-Lined Pressure Vessels — Part 5: Thermal Cycling Test" applies to pressure vessels lined with polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, and other materials. It specifies the test principle, equipment, methods, and result evaluation criteria. The test requires the use of a thermal cycling test chamber with a temperature control range of -40°C to 200°C and a temperature fluctuation of ≤±2°C, combined with pressure monitoring equipment with an accuracy level not lower than 0.4, to simulate temperature fluctuation scenarios during actual equipment operation. After multiple high- and low-temperature cycles, the lining is observed for cracking or detachment. Combined with dimensional change and mechanical performance testing, the stability of the lining under alternating temperature environments is evaluated, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
