Portable Paint GlossMeter

A portable paint gloss meter measures the gloss value by shining a light source at a fixed angle onto the sample surface and calculating the intensity of the reflected light. It is used for rapid on-site detection of the reflective properties of coating surfaces, and for assessing coating uniformity in automotive repairs, furniture finishing, and industrial quality inspections.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the measurement angle range must match the glossiness of the object being measured: use a 20° angle for high-gloss surfaces and an 85° angle for matte surfaces. The instrument should have a calibration function, and its protection rating should be checked to ensure it suits the on-site environment. Battery life must meet mobile testing needs, and the operation interface should be simple and easy to read.
