Flammable Gas Concentration Meter

The combustible gas concentration meter detects the volume percentage of combustible gases in the air through the principles of catalytic combustion or infrared absorption. When the sensor comes into contact with the gas, it generates an electrical signal change, which is processed by the circuit to display the concentration value. It is used for leakage monitoring and explosion warning in places such as petrochemical plants and coal mines.
Selection
Select the explosion-proof rating and protection specifications based on the detection environment. Catalytic combustion type is suitable for common hydrocarbon gases, while infrared type is ideal for oxygen-deficient environments. Consider response time and calibration cycles; fixed installations are used for continuous monitoring, while portable devices are suitable for inspections. Confirm sensor lifespan and interchangeability.
