CIE Standard Light Booth

The CIE light box simulates standard illuminants such as daylight and fluorescent light to provide a stable viewing environment. It utilizes standard light sources and gray inner walls to reduce ambient light interference, making it suitable for color comparison and quality control in industries such as textiles and printing.
Selection
When selecting, consider the coverage of commonly used standard light sources such as D65 and TL84. The illuminance uniformity should exceed 90%, and the inner walls should be neutral gray to avoid color differences. The size of the cabinet should match the sample dimensions, and factors such as lamp lifespan and replacement costs should be included in the evaluation.

Light source configuration and color matching environment requirements in the selection of standard light boxes
This article discusses how to choose a standard light booth, focusing mainly on the light source configuration and observation environment.
The necessity of a standard light source box in visual color comparison and color difference assessment of coatings.
In the production of coatings, accurate color evaluation is crucial. Visual color comparison is easily affected by light, as natural light is unstable, and different lighting conditions can make colors appear different.
Paper Whiteness Tester Measures CIE Whiteness
This article explains how a paper whiteness meter measures CIE whiteness. Whiteness is a crucial optical indicator for evaluating paper quality. Traditional methods rely on subjective judgment, while modern instruments provide objective data by simulating standard lighting conditions.
Application of Colorimeters in Controlling Color Differences in Paint Batches
This article introduces the role of colorimeters in controlling color consistency in paint production. Since human judgment of color is easily influenced by lighting and subjective factors, colorimeters quantify color differences in the CIELAB color space by measuring spectral data, providing an objective basis for production.
