Pin-on-Disc Wear Testing Machine

The pin-on-disk wear tester simulates the friction and wear process by bringing a fixed specimen into contact with a rotating grinding disk under a vertical load. It is used to evaluate the scratch resistance of material surfaces and is suitable for durability testing of surface coatings such as paints and plastics.
Selection
When selecting, consider the compatibility of the specimen size with the fixture, ensure the load range covers the testing standards, and verify that the rotational speed is adjustable to meet the requirements of different materials. The equipment should also be equipped with a wear depth measurement function. Pay attention to the compatibility between the grinding disc material and the hardness of the specimen, and ensure the device complies with standards such as ASTM G99.
