Surface/Interfacial TensioMeter

The surface and interfacial Tensiometer calculates the force per unit length by measuring the degree of deformation of a liquid's surface or interface under force. It is used to assess liquid wettability, emulsion stability, and finds applications in evaluating ink adhesion, paint leveling, and the effectiveness of cleaning agents.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the measurement method with the properties of the test liquid: use the spinning drop method for viscous liquids and the pendant drop method for volatile liquids. For routine quality control, the plate/ring method is suitable, while for scientific research and analysis, the oscillating jet method is recommended. Determine the level of automation based on accuracy requirements and sample volume, and ensure appropriate protective configurations for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
