Single-Sided Film Preparator

The film applicator forms a uniform wet film on the substrate by single-pass scraping, with the wet film thickness controlled by the gap. It is used in laboratories to prepare coating samples of standard thickness for subsequent drying and testing of coating properties. It is suitable for quality control and research and development in the coatings and ink industries.
Selection
When selecting, consider whether the coating thickness range covers the testing requirements and whether the substrate dimensions match the width of the preparator. Pay attention to the wear resistance of the blade material and the precision of the gap, as well as the ease of operation and cleaning/maintenance. Choose the appropriate model based on the viscosity of commonly used coatings.
