Dyne pen for pigments

The dyne pen uses standard surface tension testing fluid contained in its tip. After drawing a line on the surface of the tested material, the contraction state of the liquid film is observed to determine whether the material's surface tension meets the requirements for printing or coating. It is used for quickly detecting the surface treatment effects of materials such as plastics and metals, ensuring coating adhesion.
Selection
Select a dyne pen with a corresponding tension value based on the type of material being tested, typically within the range of 30–70 dynes. Clean the surface before testing and make a quick, light stroke. If the liquid film spreads evenly within 2 seconds, the surface meets the standard; if it contracts into droplets, surface treatment is required. Comparing multiple pens can accurately determine the critical tension value.
