Shore A Type Hardness Tester

The Shore A durometer measures hardness by pressing an indenter into the material surface under spring force and converting the penetration depth into a hardness value. It is used to test the hardness of soft plastics, rubber, and other materials, reflecting the material's ability to resist localized indentation.
Selection
When selecting, consider the hardness range of the material; use Type A for soft materials. Ensure that the indenter size and spring force comply with standards. Check that the range and accuracy meet testing requirements. Pay attention to the influence of temperature and humidity in the operating environment. Perform regular calibration to ensure data accuracy.
