Fully Automatic Digital Micro Hardness Tester

The fully automatic digital display microhardness tester applies a fixed load to the sample through a motor-driven indenter. The optical system measures the length of the indentation diagonals, and the processor automatically calculates the Vickers or Knoop hardness values. It is used for hardness testing of small components such as metal coatings and ceramics, enabling unattended measurement and data recording.
Selection
When selecting, ensure that the material hardness range matches the load specifications. For conventional materials, choose below 1 kgf, while hard alloys require 10 kgf or above. Prioritize the linkage mechanism between the objective lens and the indenter to avoid collisions, and verify that the XY stage accuracy reaches ±1 μm. Note that the software must support the ASTM E384 standard and include a reserved QC data interface.
