High and Low Temperature Alternating Damp Heat Test Chamber for Coatings

This device simulates a temperature range from -70℃ to 150℃ using a refrigeration and heating system, controls humidity between 30% and 98% with a humidification system, and reproduces light exposure conditions using ultraviolet lamps. It is used to test whether coatings exhibit blistering, cracking, or discoloration under alternating cold and hot conditions as well as in humid environments, thereby verifying their environmental adaptability. It is applied in quality control for automotive and architectural coatings.
Selection
Determine the temperature and humidity range based on the actual usage environment of the coating, with a conventional requirement of -40℃ to 150℃. Select the inner chamber volume according to the sample size, with standard models typically ranging from 100 to 500 liters. Pay attention to the temperature change rate of 1-3℃ per minute and humidity fluctuations of ±2% RH. The compressor brand and controller accuracy affect data reliability. A stainless steel inner chamber is corrosion-resistant, and an observation window with anti-condensation features should be standard.
