Overview
LANDTEK SRT-6210S Roughness Gauge is a surface roughness instrument for the measurement of surface roughness of objects in the machinery manufacturing industry or Non-metallic processing and manufacturing industry. It can simultaneously measure Ra, Rz, Rt, Rq four asperity parameters, and has Data storage function. The instrument can calculate the corresponding parameters according to the selected Measurement conditions, and display the Measurement parameter value through the backlit LCD screen, which is intuitive and clear. Roughness Gauge also has RC, PC-RC, GAUSS, D-P four filtering methods, using needle tracing method, and the measuring needle radius is 5 microns.

Principle
Inductance Sensor and needle tracing method are used for measurement, the radius of the stylus is 5 microns, the contour data is obtained by contacting the measured surface, and the signal is processed by four filtering methods: RC, PC-RC, GAUSS, D-P. According to the selected Measurement conditions, Ra, Rz, Rt, Rq and other asperity parameters are calculated.
