Overview
The DGC DC-2000C Nondestructive Thickness Gauge is a Portable Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge with a black plastic housing and split Probe design for thickness measurement of ultrasonic good conductors such as metals. The instrument is powerful, operates on four buttons, is battery powered, is suitable for field and field measurements, and supports user-defined automatic shutdown times.

Principle
The DC-2000C nondestructive thickness gauge transmits ultrasonic pulses through the coupling agent to the measured object through Probe, and part of the ultrasonic wave is reflected on the surface of the object. Probe receives the echo reflection from the bottom surface of the measured object, accurately measures the round-trip time of the ultrasonic wave, and calculates the thickness value and displays it on the screen in digital form.

Steps
1. After inserting the Probe, press the button to turn it on, and enter the measurement interface after the instrument displays the number and version number.
2. If the Probe is not inserted when turned on, the screen prompts "Please insert the Probe", and automatically enters the measurement state after insertion
3. The measurement status displays information such as thickness value, Speed of sound, Probe type and Measurement mode
4. Press the button to turn on or off the backlight function in the measurement state
Notice
• Probe needs to be inserted when booting, otherwise the measurement state cannot be entered
• Using the backlight function will significantly increase power consumption, pay attention to the battery level indicator
• Probe contact temperature should be below 60 ° C
• The measurement error varies with the accuracy mode and thickness range, please refer to the specifications
• The instrument supports custom automatic shutdown time, which can be set according to needs
