The DGC DC-2020C Ultrasonic Thickness measurement instrument features a black plastic case with an LCD screen, USB port and Probe socket, and a keyboard with six multi-function keys. The instrument is a non-penetrating Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge that directly measures material thickness and can measure thickness values by Speed of sound.

Principle
The DC-2020C ultrasonic thickness measurement instrument uses non-penetrating ultrasonic technology to transmit and receive ultrasonic signals through Probe, and calculates the material thickness according to the propagation time and sound speed of sound waves in the measured material.
Steps
1. Wipe the surface of the Probe clean without residual coupling agent
2. Press the down button, select "Probe calibrate" to automatically zero, and enter the measurement state
Notice
For measurement, only when the measurement indicator appears and is stable is a good measurement
• If there is a large amount of coupling agent on the surface of the tested body, when the Probe leaves the surface of the tested body, the coupling agent will produce a false test, so at the end of the measurement, the Probe should be quickly removed from the surface of the measured body
• If Probe abrasion, measurement will be unstable, Probe should be replaced
When using an ordinary Probe, remember that the temperature of the workpiece to be tested should not exceed 60 ° C, otherwise the Probe will be easily damaged
