UM6500 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a low-power, low-limit pocket measuring instrument developed by domestic and foreign professional technology, suitable for thickness measurement of various ultrasonic good conductor materials. It can accurately measure pipes and Pressure Vessels in various plates, processed parts and production equipment, and monitor the degree of thinning caused by corrosion during use.
1. Large screen LCD number display with high luminance backlight, easy to use in dim environment of light rays. 2. Metric and British units can be freely converted. 3. With coupling status prompt function. 4. Equipped with low battery indicator function. 5. With automatic shutdown power saving function. 6. The known thickness can measure the Speed of sound to improve the Measurement accuracy.
The instrument works on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. When the ultrasonic pulse emitted by Probe reaches the surface of the material under test through the coupler and enters the interior, reflection occurs when it reaches the bottom surface of the material or the interface of internal defects. The instrument calculates the thickness of the material by measuring the time it takes for ultrasonic waves to travel back and forth through the material, combined with the known Speed of sound.

1. Select the appropriate Probe according to the tested material and install it. 2. Apply an appropriate amount of coupling agent to the surface of the Probe and the tested material to ensure good acoustic coupling. 3. Boot, zero point calibrate or Speed of sound setting if necessary (Speed of sound can be measured using known thickness). 4. The Probe is smoothly and vertically coupled to the surface of the material under test. 5. Observe the coupling status prompt displayed on the screen, and record the measurement result after the reading is stable. 6. After the measurement is completed, clean the Probe and shut down.
Make sure that the Probe has good acoustic coupling with the surface of the material under test, and use sufficient amount of coupling agent. * Probes should be in vertical and stable contact with the measured surface during measurement. * The instrument should be used in the surrounding environment without strong vibration, no strong magnetic field, no corrosion medium and serious dust. * Ambient Temperature 0-40 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 90% RH. Pay attention to the battery level and replace the battery in a timely manner. * When the material thickness is known, it is recommended to use the reverse measurement Speed of sound function to improve the accuracy of subsequent measurements of the material.
[A] No, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
