Overview
The IPRE SR130 Groove Sensor is a precision instrument for the measurement of grooves, steps, and flat and cylindrical surface roughness. The Sensor can measure grooves with a groove width greater than 2mm, a groove depth less than 3mm, or a step surface roughness with a height less than 3mm. It is compatible with planar and cylindrical measurements. It needs to be used with the IPREB TA620 measurement platform.
Features
1. Designed for groove and step surface roughness measurement
2. Compatible with planar and cylindrical measurements
3. Measurement accuracy, suitable for precision industrial inspection
4. Need to use with a dedicated measurement platform to ensure measurement Stability
Principle
The Groove Sensor uses the Precision Probe to move on the surface of the workpiece through the Contact Measurement principle, acquire surface profile data, and calculate surface roughness parameters through built-in algorithms. The Sensor works with the IPREB TA620 measurement platform to ensure Stability and accuracy in the measurement process.
Applications
Machinery manufacturing, precision machining, mass inspection, auto parts, mold manufacturing
Steps
1. Sensor mounted on the IPREB TA620 measurement platform
2. Choose the appropriate location according to the Measured object
3. Activate the measurement device
4. Align the Sensor Probe to the Tested Surface
5. Perform measurements and record data
6. Analysis of measurement results
Notice
• Make sure the Sensor is firmly connected to the measurement platform before measurement
• When measuring the groove, make sure that the groove width is greater than 2mm and the groove depth is less than 3mm
• The height of the measurement steps should be less than 3mm
• Avoid use in humid or dusty environments
