Overview
AISRY ASR-5641 paper dust degree tester is a special testing instrument designed and manufactured according to GB/T 1541-1989 "Determination of Paper and Cardboard Dust Degree". The instrument has a reasonable structure and is easy to operate. It is suitable for the determination of paper or Cardboard dust degree. It is widely used in Universities & colleges, R & D institutions, Quality control departments and paper printing Encasement production departments. It is an instrument required for the detection of various high-smoothness papers.

Principle
The instrument places the specimen on a swirling/spinning table by providing a standardized viewing environment (specific light source and illumination angle). The operator visually observes the dust on the surface of the specimen, uses the standard dust degree picture as a reference, and compares and marks or records the amount of dust in different areas to determine the dust degree of the paper.

Steps
1. sampling: cut more than 4 250mm × 250mm samples.
2. Observation: Put a sample on a swirl/spin table and turn on the fluorescent lamp to check for dust. Keep the eye line of sight 250~ 300mm and mark different areas of dust.
3. Comparison: swirl/spin table 90 °, identify the dust area size with the standard dust degree picture, and mark the newly discovered dust until it returns to the original position.
Notice
• This instrument is used for testing high smoothness paper and Cardboard.
It should not be used to test materials with film thickness above 0.5mm or paper or Cardboard with high air permeability, as the amount of air passing through the sample can cause unrealistic results.
• The eye line of sight should be maintained at 250 to 300mm during operation.
